Class Description:
A background in yoga is appreciated, but not necessary. If you consider yourself physically active or in good shape, you will have no problem with this class. The directions are clear and questions gladly answered. This class builds upon the basic asanas (yoga postures) by integrating vinyasa flows, held postures, and pranayama (breath work). We move beyond the first few limbs of the eight-limbed path of Yoga into the realm of meditation in motion, Dhyana and Samadhi.
It is a great mid-day break. The eastern sun shines brightly through the windows, brightening your day and warming your heart. You will leave smiling; ready to finish the rest of your day with renewed energy, focus, and vigor (Note: Beware of driving immediately after class).
Dress for heat and be ready to sweat the toxins out.
