Canoe Canada! and Yoga Adventure

Detailed Itinerary: August 5-17, 2006

Day One:

Meet at the hotel near Ottawa by 5:00 PM for a short yoga class, dinner and trip overview session.

Day Two:

Drive about 4 hours to Noire River for put in onto the river.
Canoe packing tips, canoe safety review and canoeing skills instruction.
Canoe a few miles and set up camp at a site on the river.
Evening yoga class and dinner.

Day Three to Day Eleven:

Wake up with a morning meditation and gentle yoga.
Eat breakfast, take down camp and pack canoes.
Canoe down river with canoe skills and river navigation instruction as needed, stopping for lunch on the river as well.
Arrive at camp for an evening yoga class and dinner.

Day Twelve:

Wake up with a morning meditation and yoga class.
Eat breakfast, take down camp and pack canoes and canoe to the take out point.
Load gear into vans and drive about 4 hours to the hotel near Ottawa.
Final closing yoga class and dinner

Day Thirteen:

Optional morning meditation and yoga.
Breakfast and closing of Canoe Canada! and Yoga. We should be able to provide transportation to the Ottawa Airport as needed.
