Experience Samoa and Yoga Adventure.
Josephine’s debut yoga tour of Samoa!
Come to Samoa in the heart of the South Pacific with Josephine
our expert trip leader. This is her debut Yoga tour to Samoa and
is sure to be special with a traditional ‘ava ceremony to
welcome her and the group! You will have many cultural experiences,
Yoga classes, and see stunning tropical natural landscapes. If
you are on this trip you will visit a 100 person village island
set in an extinct volcanic cone. This island is rarely visited
by tourists, but is accessible through Raw Shakti Yoga.
Josephine lived in Samoa for 3 years from 1974- 1976 as a Peace
Corps volunteer where she had Taialofa, her daughter, who is the
co-leader of this premier trip. Together as mother and daughter
they will lead you mindfully into the heart of Samoa, to waterfalls
and to secluded beaches. This journey will nourish your soul.
It is a healthy adventure that you are sure to love. Picture the
most beautiful tropical beach that you can think of and that is
likely the image you will be amidst at certain points of this
yoga tour! Often we sleep in open aired fales
right at the waters edge! Come join us to relax, refresh and rejuvenate.

What to bring:
Clothes should be modest and breathable. Women's shirts should
cover the shoulders and skirts/shorts should be below the knees
for going to the villages. At the resorts and around the one small
town, Apia, it is alright to dress with less, but still preferred
to stay elegantly conservative. Both men and women will be provided
with a lavalava (traditional wrap)
for wearing in the villages. (Detailed
