Mondays
7:00 – 8:00 pm, LeSpa, Vaoala, $30, Gentle Candlelight Yoga, This class is perfect for beginners. Enjoy gentle stretching and deep relaxation. Designed to help wash away your stresses, you will be guided into the present moment and to learn how to truly rejuvenate.
Tuesdays
6:15 – 7:15 pm, Health Attack Gym, Motoatua, $10, Mixed-Level Raw Shakti Flow Yoga. For those who want to learn more and workout with yoga, this is the best yoga class for you. The class is always fresh with a variety of flows, postures and teachings to help you gain strength, flexibility and calmness of mind. Incorporating breath and movement, the class also includes a guided relaxation.
Wednesdays
12:00 – 1:00 pm, Zodiac Community Center, Vailima, $25, Beginner Yoga. A great class to try yoga for the first time. We will maintain the same sequence 8 weeks at a time, so the postures, which all have health benefits, can be learned thoroughly. Beginner yoga is different from "gentle" yoga. For example, you might sweat a bit as you learn proper technique within a posture. You will also be taught modifications so that your body is working where it needs to be in order to maintain comfort. Join this class to learn about yoga and gain more overall health.
7:00 – 8:00 pm, LeSpa, Vaoala, $20, Meditation class, Within this guided hour of meditation you will first learn to come into the present moment. Then each week you will learn a fresh technique to be able to let go of thoughts that keep bubbling up. This is followed by a guided relaxation meditation on our back. Then up to sitting for a final meditation that will be the same each week to allow you to go deeper into the experience of stillness. This is a great class to calm your busy mind.
Thursdays
8:30 – 9:30 am, Women’s Yoga Class, $20, This is a class dedicated to Women’s yoga. There are limited spaces. If you are interested please contact us.
6:15 – 7:30 pm, Health Attack Gym, Motooatua, $10, Active Yoga. This yoga is inspired by the traditional Ashtanga Yoga sequence. This is an active practice that will work your body. This class is recommended if you are active and fit and if want to sweat and work your edge.
Taialofa also teaches weekly private group classes. Inquire if you would like to set up a class.
